A very popular movement art that utilizes two people & their ability to stack & move about one another usually from an L-base position. Can involve more than two people.
One of the first aerial arts that was invented by Jules Leotard in France within the late 1800's that involves a bar hung by ropes while doing all sorts of moves on & below the bar & above using the ropes.
Most definitely a hybrid of Aerial Silks & Yoga. A hammock-like fabric apparatus is suspended while yoga-esque moves are performed within the fabric to achieve traction, inversion & flexibility.
LYRA (Aerial Hoop)
Much like a trapeze in way of movement, but within a steel circle. A lovely apparatus for doubles.
Invented in New Zealand by the Maori, the art of dancing with two fire balls made of kevlar tethered to chains. This class is indoors, so no fire will be lit. But those who "graduate" will have light- nights!
The art that originated in the 1960's but has now become much more dynamic & skill-based with multiple hoops, different sized hoops & sometimes, lit on fire.
This is a very unique, yet trendy performance art that has been hitting the country like wildfire. A pre-sign up class where Chantel can take up to 4 students out at a time. First swim will start in a man-made ocean pool, then into the ocean on a separate day. Curriculum upon request. Monofins & masks supplied.
A classic Circus Skill where the performer creates all kinds of tricks & skills off their hands or single handed off the floor or an apparatus called "canes".
TRIFECTA (Aerial Combo)
A combo class of Trapeze, Lyra & Hammock for those curious about which aerial art they would like to hone.
A Brazillian Style of Dance/Martial Art originally derived from the study of animal fighting style that incorporates a moderate amount of acrobatic movement while "fighting" an opponent.
An ancient martial art that was developed in the Shaolin Temple in China over a thousand years ago. It improves your balance, energy, immune system, & brings peace to your mind, body & spirit. Great for people with injuries & elderly who need a more gentle approach to exercise.
CIRQUE KIDS &
Cirque-Us classes for the kiddos! Mixed modality with the different students in mind for each evening. Set up in stations, with cardio, stretch & 2-5 different cirque-us modalities per night included. The keiki get to enjoy hammock & silks with lots of supervision.
Hawaiian native dance with
intricate arm movements that tell beautiful Hawaiian, Polynesian & Tahitian stories in pantomime,
usually danced to rhythmic
drumming on gourd drums &
accompanied by chanting. One of Hawaii's best asset!
Brazilian Zouk dancing is one of the most fun, technical & sensual partner dance developed in Brazil and evolved from Lambada. It can an be danced to Caribbean music, contemporary, classical, jazz, Jamwaian, R & B, Pop, country.
TAE KWON DO
Tae Kwon Do is a Korean martial art, characterized by its emphasis on head-height kicks, jumping and spinning kicks, and fast kicking techniques. These classes are specifically for the Keikis!

Lil' Tricksters is a Winter & Summer Camp designed for the young cirque-us enthusiast. Each day includes a plethora of activities that follow the 3-modality curriculum: Cirque-Us Art, Performing Art & Craft. Every day is different to guarantee that your child is thoroughly engrossed & to give them a head- start in the world of cirque-us! Ages 7-14 are welcome & camps are co-ed.
Cirque-Kids & Keiki Silks is a weekly event for Keiki ages 4-7 on Tuesdays & Kiddos 7-14 on Thursdays & Fridays that offers a mixed modality class for all levels & coincides with yoga classes for the adults they can attend next door at Yoga Hale.

Every day is different to guarantee that your child is thoroughly engrossed & to give them a head- start in the world of cirque-us! Ages 6-14 are welcome & camps are
co-ed. If there are more than 6 children, there will be an additional teacher for the daily program.
Monthly & weekly sign-ups available a week prior to class week or month please. No day drop-ins.
Please have your child wear stretch pants & a top that covers the belly to avoid fabric burns from silks & bruising from trapeze & lyra.

A Silks Intensive brought to you from none other than one of Cirque Hale's first aerial students who moved away to Portland, Oregon & excelled greatly at this sport! Meaghan Grande is inspired to come back home & show you what she has learned. "Fairy Flows" & "Daring Drops" is a fun, chock-full, two-hour intensive designed to give the Intermediate SIlks student more confidence, skill & flow in the air.
